PLAY THE UKULELE
Haven’t played in quite a while, though have you noticed how popular playing the Uke has been in the past 6 years!?! Tons of people.
I started teaching myself by watching youtube videos in 2011. I learned about 6 things I could play, and was starting to learn music theory. It was very therapeutic :-). I started to make less and less time to practice, so I would bring it with me everywhere, playing wherever and whenever I could. Even if it’s just 5 mins a day. Usually it’s while I walk somewhere, like subway stations, silently in the train, or while waiting for something ha ha. That’s a huge reason for me, why I picked the Uke to learn, it’s portability!
I’ve been on and off with it. Often stopping and then picking it back up, practicing everything I’d learned since the beginning, working on my fingering, picking, and occasionally, learning a new song or creating one. I think at this point I have maybe 12 songs?? I don’t know, since as of today, I’d stopped playing again for a bit.

I’ve also played the Uku in each season of Math Warriors. Each season, you can see that I’ve gotten a little better ha ha
