Ability Rotation

This is a possible rotation, base on maxed out abilities.
1. Ask Professor Stein (as much early on to gain 10 Intelligence Up and Shield).
2. alternate Ask Professor Stein with Nuclear Beam.
3.  Once you build up to say 10 or more Intelligence Up or any Buffs, use either Transmute Barrier or Fusion Reaction.  I’d go for Transmute Barrier to get some protection for my team first then work on Damage.
4. Repeat steps and then use Fusion Reaction or Transmute Barrier.  I’d use Fusion Reaction if the team still has a shield.

Ability 1: Nuclear Beam

Target: Single Opponent
Damage: Special Damage
Synergy: Intelligence Up

Base: Special Damage to an enemy, +3% Damage per Intelligence Up on Firestorm (Max 30%)
Final: In addition to base, +55% Damage, +2% Crit Chance per Intelligence Up on Firestorm (Max 20%)

– (250 Essense, 3 Willpower) Damage +5%
LVL4 – (600 Essence, 5 Willpower) 1 Hope) Damage +10%

THOUGHTS
The base ability working is slightly confusing to me.  It says +3% Damage per Intelligence Up, Max 30%.  The question is, this +55%, is it added to an unknown base Damage, OR it it added to the 3% Damage per Intelligence Up?  If it’s added to the 3%, then the Max 30% must mean % of Intelligence Up?  I think not.  I think +55% is added to an unknown base Damage, and the +3% Damage per Intelligence Up Max 30% is saying that you can only every have 10 Intelligence Up which would bring the 3% to 30%.

Ok, so, Special Damage.  It’s not Heavy Damage, which I’ve seen on Batman Caped Crusader which is awesome, so what in the world is Special Damage?  We do know that Special Damage is affected by INT, and this ability is all about Intelligence, which is no wonder his Damage increases with each Intelligence Up!.  BUT can he give Intelligence Up to himself?  YES, his Ability 2: Ask Professor Stein!  Otherwise, he definitely needs to team up with a character who gives Intelligence Up!!

Ability 2: Ask Professor Stein

Target: Self
Effect: Buff
Synergy: Intelligence Up, Shielded Conditional

Base: Gain 1 Intelligence Up
Final: In addition to base, 35% chance for 15% Self Shield , +1 Intelligence Up if Firestorm is Shielded.  50% chance to gain 2 extra Intelligence Ups

THOUGHTS
This ability should be use a lot in the beginning to try to get 10 Intelligence Up for his Ability 1: Nuclear Beam.  Since it doesn’t cause damage, make sure you level him up so that atleast he can possibly get a shield!  He should def. team up with someone who provides Shields!!

Ability 3 Transmute Barrier

Target: Self and Team
Effect: Buff
Synergy: Shield

Base: Purge 10 Buffs from Firestorm and apply 7% shield to all allies, +2% per buff purged.
Final (in addition to base): 16% Shield total

LVL3 – (600 Essence, 5 Willpower) 1 Hope) +1% Shield
LVL4 – (1000 Essence, 6 Willpower) 3 Hope) +1% Shield

THOUGHTS
I’m always slightly confused with the wording.  With this one.  You are purging Buffs?  Meaning you’re getting rid of a good effect?  Just want to be clear.  It’d be interesting for strategy to build up your Buffs only to be able to use this ability.  A sacrifice.  Or is it ALL kinds of Buffs?  It might be just worth it to give your whole team a Shield, and then try to reBuff yourself.  Otherwise if I’m wrong and it means Debuffs,.. ok, but definitely harder to reap the benefits of this ability unless he is getting lots of Debuffs, which you have less control over.  I actually prefer the first if that’s what’s intended.

Effect: Special Damage
Synergy: Self Buffs

Base:  Purge 10 Buffs from Firestorm and deal Special Damage to all enemies, +10% Special Damage per Buff purged.
Final (in addition to base): +65 Total Special Damage

Max Level: 8
LVL2
 – (250 Essense, 3 Willpower) +5 Damage
LVL3 – (600 Essence, 5 Willpower) 1 Hope) +5 Damage
LVL4 – (1000 Essence, 6 Willpower) 3 Hope) +5 Damage
LVL5 – (1500 Essence, 7 Willpower, 4 Hope, 1 Rage) +10 Damage
LVL6 – (2100 Essence, 8 Willpower, 5 Hope, 2 Rage) +15 Damage

THOUGHTS
Wow, another purge your own Buffs Ability.  That’s cool, so you now have a choice to sacrifice some Buffs to do AOE Damage (or as in the Ability 3, add a shield to all Allies).  Wow, +65 Damage per Buff purged!?!?  AND it’s AOE!!!!  NICE!

Effect: Buff
Synergy: Buffs, Intelligence Up

Base: Passive Ability – 20% chance to gain 1 Intelligence Up if Firestorm is Buffed.
Final (in addition to base): 55% Chance total!

THOUGHTS
Um wow, now he’s gonna become a Buff/Intelligence Up MACHINE!  20% chance as a base isn’t bad.

OVERALL INITIAL THOUGHTS

Ok, so he’s all about Intelligence Up!  Use him with anyone who can either give him Buffs, and/or Intelligence Up ones!  He has both AOE Shield and an AOE Special Damage!  Sounds like a fun character to figure out.  It’d be cool if there was an ability, maybe in Legendary Power that allows one of these Abilities that require sacrificing Buffs to activate without the sacrifice!  That’d be awesome!  I REALLY want to power him up and go for a spin to see how well his AOEs are!!!    He seems fun, looking forward to it,.. one day ha ha.  Takes time to level up don’tcha know.
