Life After Death Ft. Story Concept for “The Afterdeath”

Sometime growing up, I got the idea that in a past life I was a white woman with a white dress and brown hair who jumped off a cliff to her death.  How do you remember something like that?  I’m sure over time I’ve embellished what I think I remember.  It was a cliff into fog, which I imagined had water past it.  I think it was also cloudy, overcast, and it was rocky, with some overgrown grass.  The wind, blowing my hair.  Misty rain.  I’m not sure if I saw that in a dream, or saw it in a movie and remembered it as myself.  I used to tell people that’s why I’m afraid of heights, when it came to roller coasters, which now I’m not even sure is true.  I think it was more that I disliked the feeling in my gut when falling.

I’m not sure what to believe, but I think I believe in everything and anything.  I don’t want to rule any possibility out.  Life after death as reincarnation or life after death in the afterlife. Continue reading Life After Death Ft. Story Concept for “The Afterdeath”

Dwelling – Don’t Over Think It

What is dwelling.

In the dictionary, for the meaning I’m referring to it says:
– to live or continue in a given condition or state
– to linger over, emphasize, or ponder in thought, speech, or writing

I usually think of dwelling as negative.  It implies obsessively thinking about something that won’t change anything and for no good practical reason other than to satisfy our need to beat ourselves up, which is counterproductive.  I’ve always said, the world has more than enough people bringing us down, for us to be doing it to ourselves.  We don’t need it,… but apparently we DO need it.

Do we need to rehash thoughts and memories, to beat ourselves up?  To prove to ourselves over and over why we were wrong in one way or the other.

My first blog: Creative Discipline – [KCRRLives]

What is KCRRLives?
I’ve always used “KCRRLives” as the name of my updates for friends and family,… “K.C.R.R.” is an acronym for my alias, K.C. Randall Rick.  “KCRRLives” is supposed to say, “yes, I’m still alive,.. and here’s what I’m up to.” For this blog, I might do a little journal writing, creative writing, maybe a Vlog, or a photo or illustration, whatever I want.

CREATIVE DISCIPLINE
How to get yourself to do “____________.”  In my case, “something with my creativity.”

When I was young, I wrote, drew, sang, danced, and created,… early childhood education, and feeling like an outsider encouraged creativity.  In school I was in a “Prodigy” program, and there were always opportunities to write stories, or to create art.  My creativity had no bounds.
